How It All Works

When you get to one of our sites you can park your car in the car park provided on the site and you walk to the pay hut.

Take a basket or baskets and then you are directed to the area we are picking in on the day of your visit.

There are alley ways to walk down so there is no need to run and if you have children with you please do not let them run across or up and down the rows,

You pick as much or as little as you want but if you pick less than 2kg in any basket you will be charged 25p for the basket (you can bring it back next time you come and you will not be charged).

Select your fruit carefully.

If you are keeping the fruit for a few days - select just under ripe fruit.

If you are eating the fruit the same day - pick ripe fruit.

If you are jamming or processing - pick over ripe fruit (they are sweet and juicy).

Tip:

Everyone wants to pick as near to the pay hut as possible, so walk to the furthest place from the hut in the section and you will get the best fruit.

When you have picked as much fruit as you want you make your way to the pay hut where your fruit is weighed and you are told the weight and the price for your selection.

Once you pay you are given a receipt.
